Finale toelating vir 2026 vir studente wat die eerste keer voorgraads inskryf

Ons sal ’n finale aanbod uitreik gebaseer op jou finale graad 12-uitslae, wat in Januarie 2026 uitgereik sal word. Jy sal twee dae hê om die aanbod te aanvaar voordat dit verval. Hou jou e-pos fyn dop vir bywerkings en maak seker dat jy jou aanlyn status nagaan deur die Aansoekportaal >> te gebruik.

Maak asseblief seker dat jy die status van jou Studentekontrak voortdurend op jou aansoekportaal monitor sodra dit opgelaai is. Let ook daarop dat hierdie proses nie van toepassing is op studente wat in 2025 by die US geregistreer was nie.

Jy sal eers kan registreer nadat jy jou finale aanbod aanvaar het en jou aanmeldbesonderhede ontvang het (wat in ’n aparte skrywe gestuur sal word), sodra die amptelike registrasieperiode open.

Let asseblief daarop dat die finale toelatings en daaropvolgende kommunikasie vanaf Dinsdag 13 Januarie 2026 verwerk sal word.


 

Heroorweging van onsuksesvolle aansoekers vir 2026-inname op voorwaarde dat daar plek beskikbaar is

FakulteitVoorwaardes vir heroorweging Wyse van aansoek en/of kontakpersoon vir heroorweging:
 
AgriWetenskappeSal heroorweeg word vir hoofstroom en VKP (nadat finale graad 12-uitslae beskikbaar is).

Onsuksesvolle aansoekers van ander fakulteite wat by die US aansoek gedoen het en aan die toelatingsvereistes van programme wat deur AgriWetenskappe aangebied word, voldoen.

 
Die vorm vir heroorweging is hier beskikbaar . 

Die skakel sal die dag ná ontvangs van die graad 12-uitslae oopmaak.
 
Lettere en Sosiale WetenskappeGeen heroorwegings vir keuringsprogramme nie (Visuele Kunste, Drama, Musiek, Maatskaplike Werk en alle VKP-programme). 

Sal onsuksesvolle kandidate met ’n gemiddelde van 68%+ vir ander programme behalwe die bogenoemde heroorweeg.

Die skakel sal op 12 Januarie open en op 30 Januarie 2026 sluit.
 

Economic and Management Sciences

Will reconsider applicants with an average of 80% + Maths 80%. (This will include students who have applied for admission to a programme offered at SU but would prefer to transfer to EMS.)

If an applicant received a conditional offer from EMS but did not accept the offer, EMS will reconsider the applicant.  
 

An online reconsideration form will be available from 15 January at 08:00 to 29 January at 17:00

This link must be completed for reconsideration, as no other reconsideration requests will be considered.

 

EducationOnly applicants on waiting list will be considered. 
EngineeringApplicants with 80%+ in Gr 12 will be considered

Reconsideration for BEng main stream or ECP: If you would like us to reconsider you for a space in the BEng main stream or extended curriculum programmes, please add your details here.

The link will be made available on 20 January.

Please do not complete the online form if you have already accepted a conditional offer to a BEng programme. We will automatically reconsider candidates for final admission that:
- accepted a conditional offer; OR
- have a waitlist status.

Take note that the applicants on the waiting list will only be considered if there are spaces available in the programme. Applicants on the waiting list will be ranked according to academic merit and will be contacted by email in February 2025, if selected, once the formal registration period for the newcomer students has passed.

Theology

Only applicants with 60%+ in Gr 12 will be reconsidered for admission to mainstream programmes.

Applicants who are currently admitted for ECP (55–59%) will be considered for mainstream if the Grade 12 results are 60%+.

Reconsiderations for ECP will be considered if space is available, on condition that the average for the final Grade 12 results is 55%+.

Applicants who are already waitlisted will automatically be reconsidered based on their final matric results.

Applicants who did not originally meet the admission requirements but who improve their results after the release of final NSC (or equivalent) marks may request to be placed on the waiting list. Placement will depend on academic ranking and available programme spaces. 
 

Requests to be placed on the waiting list must be submitted to the Undergraduate Selection Office ([email protected]) after the release of the matric results, before the end of January.
