Dr Tanya de Villiers-Botha is ʼn senior dosent in die Departement Filosofie aan die Universiteit Stellenbosch. Sy is ook die hoof van die Eenheid vir die Etiek van Tegnologie in die Sentrum vir Toegepaste Etiek en ʼn lid van die Global AI Ethics Consortium (Globale KI-etiekkonsortium) van die Institute for the Ethics of Artificial Intelligence (Instituut vir die Etiek van Kunsmatige Intelligensie) by die Tegniese Universiteit van München. Haar navorsingsbelangstellings sluit in: die filosofie van bewussyn en kognitiewe wetenskap, meta-etiek en die epistemologie en etiek van KI.
