Study Abroad During Your Degree
As an SU student, you can apply for:
Semester Exchange Programmes at one of SU’s many international partner universities
Winter or Summer School Programmes, hosted by our global partners
Travel bursaries to attend an independent summer or winter school. These are academic programmes offered by universities outside our formal partnerships, typically during the northern and southern hemisphere breaks
Internationalisation@Home Opportunities
Students can still gain international exposure without leaving campus through programmes that are designed to help them develop a global mindset, strengthen intercultural skills, and grow as active, engaged members of both the local and global community. Through our Internationalisation@Home initiatives, you can:
- Participate in the SU Summer/Winter School
- Enroll in the Global Citizenship Short Course
- Join the Matie Buddy Programme, where you'll connect with international students studying at SU
