Global Citizenship Short Course
The Global Citizen Short Course is offered by SU International in collaboration with the Frederik van Zyl-Slabbert (FVZS) Institute for Student Leadership and Development.

What is the Global Citizen Short Course?
The Global Citizen Short Course is a nine-month co-curricular programme designed to deepen students' understanding of global citizenship and their role as an engaged citizen in a diverse, interconnected world.
Course Components:
- Themed Sessions: Engage with a variety of guest speakers and topics that explore the many dimensions of global citizenship.
- Community Engagement: Complete 20 hours of meaningful, hands-on service in local communities.
- Intercultural Competence: Develop your intercultural skills through foreign language acquisition and international exposure.
