“Rooted in Africa and Global in Reach”

Stellenbosch University International (SU International) contributes to SU's aspiration of being an internationally recognised research-intensive institution, rooted in our community, region and continent, with a global reach. Internationalisation at SU is a comprehensive, evolving process that involves faculties and support services environments.

We promote internationalisation through:

  • Purposeful bilateral partnerships, both in and beyond Africa.
  • Participation in multilateral alliances and networks.
  • Global learning for a transformative student experience; and
  • The creation of a platform for research, policy and practice development relating to international higher education in Africa.
