The programme is designed to support researchers across the full research lifecycle, from navigating library resources, conducting literature reviews to managing references.
An international conference, Decay without mourning: Future-thinking heritage practices, will take place in Stellenbosch from 15–17 April. It is the culmination of a five-year research project at Stellenbosch University, KTH Royal University (Sweden) and the University of São Paulo. Alongside the academic programme, a curated series of artistic works that form part of the conference’s thematic arc will be presented. These events are free and open to the public. Please note booking is essential.
Join us for the 20th Annual Human Rights Lecture, "A Right to Remain: Spatial Justice and a Transformative Approach to Housing Rights", presented by Justice Rammaka Steven Mathopo.
The values of Stellenbosch University (SU) relate to the beliefs and attitudes that guide our behaviour. Naming our values is easy but putting them into action in our daily activities may often present some difficulties. Therefore, the SU values – excellence, compassion, equity, respect and accountability – need to become part of how we act, make decisions and deal with ethical challenges. The University's Values in Action practical workshops aim to equip staff and students to embody values-driven behaviour and leadership. These workshops are informative, experiential and practical.
