Die Stellenbosch Fotonika Instituut fokus op fotonika-verwante navorsing en ontwikkeling in Suider-Afrika. Die groep spog met uitstekende laserfasiliteite, wêreldklas navorsingsprojekte en 'n dinamiese kombinasie van studente, dosente en ander personeel. Hierdie faktore kombineer om 'n unieke en hoogs suksesvolle navorsingsomgewing te skep.
