Dr Anna Hartford Senior dosent: Filosofie | Hoof: Eenheid vir Sosiale en Politieke Etiek (PROSPER), Sentrum vir Toegepaste Etiek

Dr Anna Hartford is ʼn senior dosent in die Departement Filosofie en die hoof van die Eenheid vir Sosiale en Politieke Etiek (PROSPER) in die Sentrum vir Toegepaste Etiek. Sy het ʼn magister in kulturele verslagdoening en kritiek aan die Universiteit van New York en haar PhD in filosofie aan die Universiteit van Kaapstad (UK) verwerf. Haar PhD was op die gebied van morele epistemologie en het gehandel oor die vraag na toerekenbaarheid vir oortuiging en onkunde. Sy is sedert 2019 ʼn navorsingsgenoot by PROSPER en het gehelp om die Eenheid se MPhil-program saam met prof Vasti Roodt te ontwikkel. Vóór sy in 2025 voltyds na die US verskuif het, was Anna vier jaar lank ʼn navorsingsgenoot by die Neurowetenskapsinstituut van die UK, waar sy op vraagstukke op die punt waar filosofie en geestesgesondheid/-versteuring ontmoet, gefokus het.
