Affiliate Research Students

International students planning to conduct fieldwork or research at Stellenbosch University for non-degree purposes must apply as affiliate research students. We use the terms affiliate students, affiliate research students, and affiliates interchangeably.

Please note:

• Applicants must independently secure a placement with a host department at SU before applying.
• Applications should be submitted at least three weeks before the expected admission outcome.
