Invitation to attend JET briefing session

The Stellenbosch University Japan Centre in association with the Embassy of Japan in South Africa is glad to invite you to the JET Programme info session on 7 May 2026.

The JET Programme is a Japanese government sponsored exchange programme that aims to improve foreign language teaching in schools and to promote international understanding. The JET Programme offers highly qualified university graduates’ opportunities to work as either Assistant Language Teachers in public schools or local boards of education in Japan.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in any field.
• Have Excellent English Skills (Both written and spoken)
• Have an interest in Japanese culture and learning the Japanese language.
