Semester Mobility

Stellenbosch University (SU) offers international non-degree-seeking students from partner (exchange) and non-partner (freemover) universities the opportunity to spend a semester at SU and participating in academic, credit-bearing programmes.

Important to Know

When do the programmes run: 

International students can apply to study  at SU for Semester 1, Semester 2 or for both (full year) 

The programme runs as follows: 

  • Semester 1: February to June
  • Semester 2: July to December 
Who can apply: 

Students should have completed one year or two semesters of study at the home university with an average of 65% for their studies.

Students can also apply for a semester exchange through the following service providers:
