Military Academy

The South African Military Academy serves as the academic and professional education institution of the South African National Defence Force, responsible for the development of commissioned officers through a combination of university-level education and military training. Operating in partnership with Stellenbosch University, the Academy delivers accredited degree programmes alongside leadership development, discipline, and military orientation. Its core function is to equip future officers with the intellectual capacity, ethical grounding, and professional competence required to operate effectively in complex defence and security environments, thereby contributing to the readiness and leadership capability of the SANDF.
