Faculty of Military Science (FMS) Committees

The Faculty of Military Science (FMS) is guided by a network of dedicated academic and operational committees that support excellence in teaching, research, governance, and social responsibility. These committees form a vital part of the faculty’s internal governance structure and ensure alignment with Stellenbosch University’s strategic goals and values.

Each committee is tasked with a specific portfolio—ranging from research oversight and ethics screening to promoting social impact and fostering innovation in teaching and learning. Together, they facilitate decision-making, encourage cross-disciplinary collaboration, and promote accountability across academic and administrative domains.
