Internationalisation@Home for PASS Staff

Internationalisation at Home is described as “…the purposeful integration of international and intercultural dimensions into the formal and informal curriculum for all students within domestic learning environments” (Beelen & Jones, 2015).

At SU, we recognise that internationalisation is not limited to students and academic staff. SU International extends this integration into the professional environments of our Professional Administrative Support and Service (PASS) staff. Through dedicated Staff Training Weeks hosted on Central Campus, PASS colleagues from across SU’s campuses are invited to participate in enriching opportunities that foster both professional and personal growth.

These training weeks, often attended by Erasmus+ partner institutions, include interactive sessions, topical discussions, and job-shadowing opportunities. They create valuable spaces for SU PASS staff to engage with international counterparts, exchange perspectives, and strengthen their professional skills while broadening their intercultural understanding.
