Strengthening Internationalisation Practice in a Data-Informed and AI-Supported University
From 13 - 17 April 2026 SU International brings together Professional, Administrative and Support Services (PASS) staff from Stellenbosch University and partner institutions to engage with current approaches to internationalisation in higher education. This year’s programme focuses on Strengthening Internationalisation Practice in a Data-Informed and AI-Supported University.
Through interactive sessions, job shadowing and peer exchange, participants will explore intercultural competence, the ethical and practical use of data and AI, and how these can meaningfully support internationalisation work in professional and administrative contexts.

This training week's programme will focus on:
- Professional identity and the role of internationalisation facilitators
- Intercultural competence in digital and AI-mediated contexts
- Foundations of Big Data and AI in Higher Education
- Practical, ethical, and responsible applications of AI and data in internationalisation work
- Job shadowing and peer exchange within Stellenbosch University
