From residences and Private Student Organisation wards to our Listen, Live and Learn houses, all Maties belong to one of seven cluster communities - spaces where students meet, build connections, and find a sense of belonging that supports success.
Proudly continuing our long sporting tradition, Maties Sport nurtures talented student-athletes while also promoting an active lifestyle across the SU community. Our facilities include a 14 000-seater athletics stadium, two artificial grass pitches, nine hockey fields, six cricket fields, nine squash courts, eight netball courts, 15 rugby fields, 27 tennis courts, and six clubhouses.
Our diverse student societies, catering for everything from dancing to debating and beyond, offer students the chance to meet new people, explore their interests, and live a balanced, vibrant life.
