The Stellenbosch University Museum is located on the main campus of Stellenbosch University. The Museum's collection includes a range of art, cultural and scientific objects. The Museum’s collection of traditional African art, which includes masks, sculptures and textiles, is one of the largest in South Africa, with over 6 000 objects from across the continent. 

In addition to its permanent collections, the Museum also hosts a variety of temporary exhibitions throughout the year. These exhibitions feature both local and international artists and explore a range of themes and topics.
