Bachelor of Military Science Honours in Security and Africa Studies
The Bachelor of Military Science Honours in Security and Africa Studies is designed to develop advanced analytical, strategic, and contextual competencies in commissioned and selected non commissioned officers. The programme provides specialised knowledge in international relations, security dynamics, and Africa-focused political and military contexts, enabling informed decision-making within complex international environments.

Minimum toelatingsvereistes
Subject to consultation with the lecturers at the Department for Security and Africa Studies, the following is required:
• any BMil degree with Political Science (Mil), Military History or Strategic Studies as major, with a final mark of at least 60% in you major in the final year.

Programstruktuur
The programme is presented over one year full-time or two years part-time with regular contact sessions between you and your supervisor (depending on the availability of the lecturers). You must attend all scheduled block modules. You must take half of the modules in the first semester, the other half of the modules in the second semester, and the research assignment as a year module.
