Donations can be outright gifts in any amount paid in cash, cheque or credit card. A donation may also be “in kind”. The amount of the deduction is capped at 10% of a person’s taxable income. Our easy to use online giving platform makes donating safe and secure.

Stellenbosch University requires funding beyond what government can give so that it can be successful in attracting the very best student talent. On average an undergraduate student needs R150,000 p.a. (for an average of 3 years) for tuition, accommodation and living expenses. On average a postgraduate student requires a minimum of R120,000 p.a (master’s level) and more at PhD or postdoctoral level.
