International Collaboration Grant (ICG)
The Institutional Collaboration Grant (ICG) provides funding for academic staff at Stellenbosch University to strengthen collaboration with counterparts at universities outside of Africa. The grant supports outgoing mobility by enabling short-term visits to partner institutions abroad, aimed at fostering meaningful academic engagement and research partnerships.
Please note: Mobility to African institutions is excluded from this grant and is instead supported through the Africa Collaboration Grant (ACG).

- Develop joint research proposals or publications
- Explore future collaborative projects
Key Requirements:
- Applicants must initiate contact with the proposed host institution to confirm interest and discuss a possible work plan before submitting their application.
