Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility (ICM) for SU Staff
Erasmus+ is the European Union’s flagship programme for education, training, youth, and sport, offering valuable international opportunities for higher education institutions and their staff. Through its International Credit Mobility (ICM) component, the programme supports short-term mobility of academic and professional staff between European universities (programme countries) and partner institutions around the world, including Stellenbosch University.
What Does It Offer?
The Erasmus+ ICM programme provides grants for:
- Staff Mobility for Teaching: For academic staff to teach at a European partner university, share expertise, engage directly with students, and learn from best practices in another higher education system.
- Staff Mobility for Training: For academic or Professional Administrative Support Staff (PASS) to participate in structured training, job shadowing, or professional development activities at a partner institution in Europe.
These mobility opportunities aim to foster international collaboration, enhance professional skills, and strengthen institutional partnerships between SU and its European counterparts.
