BSc in Bosbou (Bosbou- en Houtwetenskappe) (BScBosb)
Bosbou- en Natuurlikehulpbronwetenskappe:
Hierdie rigting handel oor bosse, woude, plantasies en ander boom-gebaseerde landgebruikstelsels. Die studieprogram stel jou bekend aan die hele bosbou- en houtprodukte-waardeketting, soos die kweek en inoesting van bome, die bestuur van plantasies en sosio-ekonomiese en bewaringsaspekte. Die program skop af met modules in Biologie, Chemie, Geo-omgewingswetenskap, Rekenaarvaardigheid en Wiskunde saam met 'n module in Boskunde. Vanaf die tweede studiejaar bestudeer jy die basiese toegepaste wetenskappe soos Grondkunde en Biometrie en in die derde en vierde studiejaar neem jy verskeie modules in Boskunde wat uitloop op 'n oorkoepelende bosbou-bestuursplan.
Hout- en Houtprodukkunde:
Hierdie rigting is 'n kombinasie van houtprodukkunde en ingenieursmodules. Kennis van houtprodukkunde word gekombineer met modules soos Sterkteleer, Gehaltebestuur, Bedryfsergonomie, Omgewingsingenieurswese en Ondernemingsontwerp om 'n graad te skep wat gesogte leiers vir die houtprodukte-omgewing oplewer.
Aangesien daar 'n tekort aan opgeleide kundiges in hierdie studieveld is, is baie beurse beskikbaar: 'n groot persentasie van ons voorgraadse studente ontvang volle beurse! Studente wat hierdie program voltooi, volg meestal loopbane as bosboukundige of houtkundige bestuurders. Daar is ook geleenthede as omgewingsbeplanners, konsultante, kontrakteurs, entrepreneurs, voorligters en navorsers.

Hout- en Houtprodukkunde: Werk as ’n houtprodukkenner, bestuurder van ’n produksieaanleg vir houtprodukte, produkontwikkelingsbestuurder, gehalteversekeringsbestuurder, konsultant en houtwetenskaplike.
