Voorgraads
Die Departement Psigiatrie is breedvoerig betrokke by die opleiding van mediese studente aan die Universiteit Stellenbosch deur beide prekliniese didaktiese onderrig in jaar 3 en die kern kliniese rotasies. Fakulteit in die Departement neem ook deel aan ander onderrigaktiwiteite soos gevallestudie-gebaseerde leer en mentorskapprogramme. Die departement neem ook deel aan die opleiding van voorgraadse studente in verwante beroepe, insluitend arbeidsterapie, verpleging, fisioterapie en dieetkunde.
Nagraads
Die Departement Psigiatrie bied verskeie nagraadse grade op die gebied van psigiatrie en geestesgesondheid aan, insluitend 'n nagraadse diploma in verslawingsorg, subspesialisopleiding deur middel van meestersprogramme in Verslawingspsigiatrie, Kinder- en Adolessente Psigiatrie, Gemeenskapsgeestesgesondheid, Kliniese Neuropsigiatrie, Baabaasgeestesgesondheid, Bewustheid, Psigogeriatrie en Psigosomatiese Psigiatrie. Die Departement bied ook die MMed in Psigiatrie-graad aan, wat vereis word om as 'n psigiater in Suid-Afrika te praktiseer. Ons bied ook 'n MSc in Neurowetenskap en 'n PhD in Psigiatrie aan.
