About the lecture: No single solution will solve the world's most pressing health challenges. Professor Thirumurthy makes the case for combining behavioural, biomedical, and structural approaches, drawing on two decades of research in low- and middle-income countries, to turn evidence into lasting impact.
Speaker: Harsha Thirumurthy is the Founders Professor of Population Health and Chief of the Division of Health Policy at the University of Pennsylvania, and Co-Director of the Behavioral Economics and Global Health Insights Lab. He cofounded the Indlela unit at Wits University in 2020 and holds a PhD in Economics from Yale (2006).
