Gary is responsible for the day-to-day management of SUNCOM and Factory 209 (Pty) Ltd (F209), a wholly owned subsidiary of SU. During his short time at SU, he has been instrumental in establishing several new initiatives. His passion and dedication are exceptional, and he is always ready for a new challenge. 

Some of the bigger projects he has overseen include expanding the Matie Shop into the leading university apparel store in the country, developing the Consultation Services model for SU, and launching the Gradlinc graduate recruitment platform. 

Gary has also recently successfully negotiated a contract where F209 will exclusively manage the commercialisation of the brand of another leading university in South Africa. 

His ability to juggle the diversity of the portfolio has made him a key part of SUNCOM's management team. In between his studies and this, he has also represented SU in both chess and squash at USSA tournaments.
