Welcome to Student Affairs - a student-oriented Stellenbosch University environment that resorts under the Responsibility Centre of the Dean of Students. We will walk alongside you on your university journey, providing and enabling an environment that enhances student success and student experience thus providing you with opportunities for personal growth, learning, leadership development, and linking you to the correct services to ensure your holistic wellbeing. Our goal is to create an inclusive and supportive environment where you can grow as a leader, build meaningful connections, and develop specific graduate attributes that prepare you for life beyond SU.
Student Affairs supports every Matie throughout their university journey by overseeing all aspects that help students flourish academically, socially, and personally. Through the work of the Centre for Student Life and Learning and the Centre for Student Counselling and Development, Student Affairs provides leadership and development programmes, co-curricular learning opportunities, and wellbeing support services that nurture personal growth, a positive student experience, a successful learning experience and a strong sense of belonging. We are guided by our SU’s Vision 2024 and values thus mapping our work linked to an inclusive and transformative student experience that will aid students and graduates to take up their role(s) in service of society.
