To ensure a safe, orderly, and high-quality graduation experience, Stellenbosch University (SU) kindly requests that graduates and guests make use of the official SU-appointed photographers. These photographers will be clearly identifiable by their SU-branded bibs and have access to designated photography areas reserved exclusively for them.

Please note that Stellenbosch University discourages the use of photographers operating along the perimeter of the venue. These photographers are not appointed, accredited, or endorsed by SU, and the University is therefore unable to guarantee the quality of their work or level of service. As a result, SU cannot assist with or be held responsible for any enquiries, complaints, or disputes arising from engagements with non-appointed photographers.

Official Graduation Photography – SCPS

Stellenbosch University’s official photography service, the Stellenbosch Centre for Photographic Services (SCPS), will capture your graduation ceremony.

During the ceremony, three photographs will be taken as you cross the stage and your qualification is conferred. An order form will be provided after the ceremony should you wish to purchase any of these photographs.

In addition, SCPS will offer studio-style photography sessions before and after the ceremony at the Sport Science Building (no 8 on the parking map) at Coetzenburg. Please note that bookings for these sessions must be made in advance.
