Graduation deferral

If you qualify for the December 2025 graduation, you do have the option to defer the awarding of your qualification to the graduation week of 23 — 27 March 2026.  

Please note that if you choose to defer to March 2026, you will not be able to request your official graduation certificate from the Graduation Office before then, but we can provide you with an official academic record. 

To arrange a deferral, log in to the student portal and go to Academics > Graduation ceremony > defer to March 2026.   

The deadline for submission is Friday, 21 November 2025. 

Please also note that if you utilise and pass a module during the second assessment opportunity (A3 assessment period from 20 November — 6 December 2025), your qualification will be awarded during the March 2026 graduation cycle. Students in this category do not need to complete the absentia form.
