The purpose of the bilateral collaborative programmes is to enhance scientific and technological cooperation between South Africa and one (bilateral) or two (trilateral) partner countries and to provide an opportunity for young researchers in South Africa to engage with researchers abroad, thereby developing and strengthening networks.
 

 Eligibility Criteria:

• Academic staff with a PhD
• All nationalities, as long as applicant is employed by SU for the duration of the project

These are call-based applications that are made available at different intervals throughout the year.
