Our Facilities

Stellenbosch Biokinetics Practice

Situated at the foot of the breath-taking Stellenbosch mountain and surrounded by world class sporting facilities, this practice is a facility open to the public as well as a training facility for our interns and biokinetics students from the Department of Exercise, Sport and Lifestyle Medicine at Stellenbosch University.

Kinderkinetics Practice

The Kinderkinetics Practice aims to help develop children (0-13 years old) holistically by stimulating, remedying & promoting specific motor skills and physical development, through physical activity.

ISEM Sports Injury Clinic

The ISEM Sports Injury Clinic fills a significant gap within the current clinical services without increasing burden on the Orthopaedics Department. Many of the patients seen so far would have ended up in the system if not managed properly and may have needed more extensive treatment if not given the conservative management now. As such, we believe that the ISEM Sports Injury Clinic may even reduce strain on the Orthopaedics Department through diversion of patients through conservative management and appropriate screening prior to surgical intervention.

ISEM Living Laboratory:

The ISEM Living Laboratory is a Sport and Exercise Medicine Practice located in Stellenbosch, catering to every sports medicine and performance-related need. We aim to treat the individual as a whole and take a multi-disciplinary approach, allowing for constant collaboration between exercise specialists, leading to the promotion of best clinical practice and research.

Sport Physiology Lab

The Exercise Physiology Lab offers scientific exercise testing fundamental to all social and competitive athletes, focussing on endurance sport,as well as any athlete involved in activities that require speed, strength and power.
