Invitation: The Walter Parry Memorial Lecture Series
Contact information
It is with deep respect and a sense of collective pride that we invite you to the upcoming Walter Parry Memorial Lecture, a space dedicated to recognising lives that have shaped education, community, and possibility within and beyond the Lückhoff legacy.
This year’s lecture honours the life and educational contribution of Ms Eva Johnson - a trailblazer, a scholar, and a daughter of Lückhoff High School. As the first woman from Lückhoff to complete a Master’s Degree in Education, Ms Johnson embodies a legacy of intellectual courage and perseverance. Her journey, from Head Girl of Lückhoff High School to an accomplished educator, stands as a powerful testament to what is possible when determination meets opportunity.
In honouring Ms Johnson, we gather not only to celebrate an individual achievement, but to affirm a broader narrative - one in which the histories, voices, and contributions of the Lückhoff community are recognised as vital to our collective intellectual and social fabric.
The Walter Parry Memorial Lecture Series continues to serve as a platform for epistemic justice, restoring visibility to those whose contributions have too often been overlooked, and positioning education as a site of both memory and repair.
