Kim truly deserves recognition for her work because she continues to tackle the most significant projects our department has seen with a confident, graceful determination. She's always eager to manage events and quickly sets about educating herself on all aspects of the project and events management above and beyond what her job scope requires. Due to this effort, she has unquestionably become the 'go-to" person for anything regarding events or other projects. Her knowledge of events and safety is well past comprehensive – she knows the information intimately. Mastering events and everything related to this has proved a massive asset to Maties Sport. Kim coordinated the hosting of 157 event days from 01 January to 30 October 2022, and still going strong even as she learns and she's kept the events unit at Maties Sport moving forward.

Though she makes it look effortless, she's spent countless hours on event preparations. Despite the enormous personal investment (time and late nights at the office), she's added to the events unit and is always quick to give credit where credit is due. Whenever she's acknowledged for her fantastic work on events, she makes it clear that it's a group effort, never taking all the credit. In incredibly stressful times, she can still often be heard laughing. She understands the collaborative nature of the events, especially when the going gets tough, and strives towards an inclusive approach while still staying firm and on track.

Kim has been amazing to watch in action. She's tackled every challenge that came her way and has helped everyone around her do the same. She always tries to stay upbeat, look for positive outcomes or compromises in difficult circumstances, and focus on the good.
