The Public Squares Initiative
The Public Squares is a research development programme designed to advance transdisciplinary work at Stellenbosch University (SU). This initiative involves selected teams in a tailored development process to enhance their skills in collaborative research, public engagement, team work, and grant writing.
Through Public Squares, we aim to catalyse, produce, and externally fund impactful research that sustains resilient economies, promotes health and wellbeing, cultivates arts and culture, makes the world greener, and fosters social cohesion.
