About

I am an associate professor in the Division of Applied Mathematics, Department of Mathematical Science, Stellenbosch University. My main research interest lies in Fluid Dynamics and more specifically, flow through porous media, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), multi-phase flows, and more recently, applications in coastal engineering. Other responsibilities include teaching and various administration tasks.

Apart from the lecturing duties, I do a consultation work for the industry through FESTEC (of which I am the principle member). I am also a co-founder of Formo Fibreglass formo.co.za that manufacture high quality fibreglass products. I am the founder and principal member of FRP Innovations frpinnovations.co.za that sells fibreglass gratings and other fibreglass products.

On a part time basis (after hours) I also teach Cambridge International AS and A Levels at Parel Vallei High school pvmathematics.co.za
