Global Registry of Health Professional Programmes - Africa

The Global Registry of Health Professional Programmes (GROHPP)-Africa presents information on
health professional programmes (HPPs) in Africa. The registry consists of two databases.

Database 1 presents data on the capacity and outputs of HPPs at the country level. In addition, information
about the accreditation and history of HPPs will be provided.

Database 2 presents information on institutions offering HPPs and postgraduate research programmes in
Africa and a list of programmes offered.

GROHPP-Africa is an initiative by Stellenbosch University and the World Health Organization (WHO) and
supports WHO's Global strategy on human resources for health: Workforce 2030.
