Mrs Elrina Marais has been with the Drama Department since 1999. Apart from serving as the Head of Wardrobe, she also teaches various components on undergraduate level in the technical stream, including Costume Construction, Costume History and Make-up. She is the Academic Course Coordinator of the undergraduate Technical and Management Training.  She is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Fashion/Costume Design and has a special interest in the history of clothing as well as materials of all kinds.
