SoTL conference 2025: Meet our Keynote panel members

Stellenbosch University’s (SU) Division for Learning and Teaching Enhancement will be hosting the 18th annual Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) Conference at the Protea Hotel Stellenbosch and Conference Centre in Technopark on 3 and 4 November 2025. 

SU hosts the SoTL Conference as a space for staff to showcase and share their research and reflection on teaching-learning-assessment (TLA) practices. We are calling on SU staff members to register for the 2025 conference.

This year’s theme is “Language and academic literacies in teaching-learning-assessment: Concepts and practices”.  Read more about this year’s theme here.

This year’s theme offers an opportunity to explore the complex relationships among TLA, scientific communication, academic literacies, epistemological access and curriculum. The conference will provide a platform for delegates to explore these elements by means of panel discussions, small group interactions and presentations.
