Our programmes
Specialised Neurosurgical Expertise (Part of MMed & Clinical Training)
These focus areas offer advanced clinical exposure and hands-on training for students within the MMed (Neurosurgery) programme:
- Craniofacial Surgery: In collaboration with the Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery Unit
- Pituitary Surgery: In partnership with the Neuro-endocrine Unit and ENT Surgery
- Spinal Neurosurgery: Covering degenerative, traumatic and tumour-related conditions
- Neuro-oncology: Diagnosis and surgical management of brain and spinal tumours
- Neuro-endoscopy: Minimally invasive surgical techniques for brain and spinal conditions
- Clinical Neuroscience Unit: Access to a multidisciplinary neuro-radiological and neuropathological database for teaching and research
Undergraduate Neurosurgery Training
This undergraduate programme introduces students to the fundamentals of neurosurgery through lectures, tutorials and hands-on learning.
MMed (Neurosurgery) Programme
This rigorous four-year postgraduate programme is designed for doctors specialising in neurosurgery.
