Student Administration

The Student Administration Department within the Faculty of Military Science serves as the central administrative hub responsible for managing the academic journey of students within a unique higher education environment that integrates university study with military professional development. Its primary function is to coordinate and oversee processes such as admissions support, registration, curriculum administration, class timetabling, assessment logistics, academic record management, and graduation certification. Given the specialised nature of the faculty, the department also ensures that administrative systems align with both university regulations and the operational requirements associated with military training and development pathways.

In addition to its core operational role, the department provides essential student support by serving as a key point of contact for students, academic staff, and relevant military stakeholders. It offers guidance on faculty rules, programme requirements, progression pathways, and important academic deadlines, while facilitating communication between the faculty, central university divisions, and partner institutions. Through professional, accurate, and responsive service delivery, Student Administration contributes to an environment where students can successfully balance academic responsibilities with leadership development, discipline, and professional commitments.

Furthermore, the department plays an important strategic role within the Faculty of Military Science by generating reliable management information and reporting on enrolment trends, student success rates, graduation outputs, and resource needs. These insights support evidence-based planning, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives within the faculty. In this capacity, Student Administration is not only an operational support function, but also a strategic enabler of the faculty’s mission to develop capable graduates and future leaders in the defence and security environment
