​​The value of Information Communication Technologies and in particular learning technologies has been communicated nationally for a number of years, with special emphasis on the importance of creating opportunities for such practices to be integrated into the educational curriculum at all levels, writes Dr Sonja Strydom in an opinion piece "How to grow tech-savvy teachers" that appeared in the Mail and Guardian on Friday 26 February.

The Faculty of Education will present three Digital Literacy Short Courses in 2016. The aim of the course is to prepare students for the world of work by providing opportunity to explore different learning technologies, their affordances as well as the appropriate methodologies to integrate such potential tools into the existing curriculum within a blended mode of delivery.​ Click here for more information.
