Human Resources support

The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences have various partner employers (i.e. National Health Laboratory Services (NHLS), Western Cape Government Department of Health (WCG:H), Medical Research Council (MRC)) and through business management we provide additional support to our Institutional Human Resources Department. This support include:

  • Coordinating AAPC meetings
  • Coordinating the faculty/Institutional HR committee meetings
  • Coordinating the appointment of Contract appointments
  • Compiling an Annual Personnel plan for the faculty
  • Coordinating the applications for outside/private work
  • Coordinating the appointment of staff funded through the DoHET Clinical Training Grant
