Logistics

The Department of Logistics, part of the Faculty of Economic and Management Sciences, is the oldest in South Africa to offer training in transport and logistics. We integrate Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Business Analytics and Transport Economics into a single department, providing a comprehensive academic experience.

Our programmes include Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) and Bachelor of Science (BSc) degrees, with subjects offered from second year to postgraduate levels. We also support advanced research with two state-of-the-art laboratories for master’s and doctoral students. We aim to prepare students for impactful careers in a rapidly evolving industry by combining academic excellence with practical insights.
