Mmatumisang Motsisi teaches Movement, Physical Theatre, and Performance Creation. They are pursuing a dual-award doctorate in Higher Education at Stellenbosch University and Coventry University, specialising in belonging in South African higher education. They are a storyteller who works with the body as the central tool for discovery, exploration, and expression, guided by a deep commitment to co-creation. Their research interests include African Feminisms, Higher Education, Belonging, and South African Contemporary Performance.
