Ms Amelda Brand’s field of specialisation is deliberate theatrical/performative social engagement (Applied Theatre). She is the academic programme coordinator for the BA in Drama and Theatre Studies programme and serves as the Social Engagement Coordinator for the Drama Department. Her teaching and supervising focuses include performance and process, performing arts facilitation, workshop theatre, theatre practices in social context, and clowning.
