Stellenbosch Forestry Students Association​​​

The Stellenbosch Forestry Students’ Association (SFSA) is the official academic student society of the Department of Forest and Wood Science within the Faculty of AgriSciences at Stellenbosch University. The SFSA represents all registered Forest Science and Wood Science students at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Throughout the academic year, the SFSA facilitates educational, social and cultural activities that promote student engagement and awareness of developments within the forestry and wood product science industries. Governance is conducted through an annually elected Committee and Annual General Assembly. The Association is affiliated with the International Forestry Students’ Association (IFSA), connecting members to a global network of forestry student organisations and international academic initiatives. It is also affiliated with the AgriSciences Student Association, enabling students to participate in wider faculty activities while maintaining a dedicated focus on forestry and wood science education.
