Established in 1975 under the African Development Bank, the Association of African Development Finance Institutions (AADFI) is an umbrella organization of over 80 national, regional, and multilateral institutions. It promotes cooperation for sustainable economic integration in Africa and maintains global influence through its roles in the World Federation of Development Financing Institutions, the Global Sustainable Finance Network, and as an observer at the World Bank.
