Danvil's father, Alec ("Pondjie"), served Maties Sport for many years, and through him, we first came to know Danvil as a young boy who was always by his side, helping at the Rugby Club.

He started his journey at Maties Sport in January 2000, where he was appointed as an Administrative Assistant.

Danvil's eagerness to learn led him to complete several courses, broadening his knowledge and strengthening his contributions in the role. Always willing to go the extra mile — often beyond regular hours — Danvil's ever-present smile and friendliness have been a true asset to our environment. 

We thank you, Dan, for the past 25 years of unmatched dedication, passion and commitment to the Maroon Machine.
