The Division for Learning and Teaching Enhancement strives to enrich the teaching-learning-assessment experience of academics and students within the university’s multilingual environment.
Our Services
- Professional learning: This includes workshops, training sessions and resources for educators to refine their teaching-learning-assessment (TLA) practices.
- Learning technologies: We offer technical support for digital tools and platforms to enhance the teaching and learning experience.
- Student success: These are programmes designed to help students develop academic and personal success skills.
- Research and innovation: We offer initiatives to explore and implement new methods for effective teaching and learning.
- Language support: We provide access to resources and assistance through the SU Language Centre, which offers various linguistic services.
- Quality assurance: We work with faculties on transformation of curricula, fostering a shift towards the Africanisation of our academic offerings and facilitate SU’s quality management system through self-evaluations and to develop approaches to quality enhancements and programme renewal.
