Master of Science in Geography and Environmental Studies
Master of Science in Geography and Environmental Studies focuses on the study and resolution of human-environmental problems and environmental phenomena from a spatial perspective. You may do the thesis research on a full-time or part-time basis. The research topic is developed and approved by the Department.

Please note that selection for postgraduate programmes is highly competitive, and meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admission. Research Master’s and PhD applicants are strongly advised to consult the relevant department before applying to discuss their proposed research topic and confirm the availability of a suitable supervisor.
Minimum admission requirements
• An appropriate honours degree with Geography and Environmental Studies or an appropriate discipline as major.
• An average final mark of 60% for the BScHons degree.
