Focuses on mineral processing and extractive metallurgy, specifically:

• Hydrometallurgy (leaching, adsorption, and solvent extraction).
• PGM and gold recovery from tailings retreatment and complex ores.
• Metals recycling, including battery materials and solar PV panels.
